Fulton College, Empowering God's People for Mission Through Education and Service in Kiribati
Dr. Elisha Marfo, a distinguished lecturer from Fulton College University, visited Kiribati in late December 2024 to participate in the Theology Certificate 4 Cohort Program. His visit coincided with the strategic goal alignment for the year 2025, themed “I will go to the end of the world.” This significant event took place from January 8 to 12, 2025.
Dr. Elisha’s series of seminars were designed to empower individuals to embrace their calling in service to God and their communities. The program commenced with an official opening ceremony on January 8, 2025, officiated by Dr. Marfo, and concluded with a closing ceremony on January 12, 2025.
Throughout the week, Dr. Elisha led inspiring sessions on three key pillars for effective ministry and outreach:
Worship and Church Revival: Dr. Elisha emphasized the importance of starting with worship, focusing on revival and reformation within the church, and inviting the Holy Spirit to dwell in the hearts of believers.
Fellowship and Community Engagement: The second pillar centered on the significance of fellowship, building meaningful relationships, and creating strong connections within the community.
Discipleship and Empowerment: The final component encouraged attendees to go out and make disciples, fostering spiritual growth and empowerment within the local church and beyond.
The strategic alignment session served as a powerful reminder of the ongoing mission to spread the gospel and nurture a global community of believers.
This collaboration between Dr. Elisha, Fulton College, and Kiribati Mission marks a significant step towards the church's mission of reaching the ends of the world with the message of faith, love, and service.
