PACIFIC FOR CHRIST

In 2026, the Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) is set to host Pacific for Christ, a large-scale evangelistic initiative aligned with the “I Will Go” strategy of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Members are prompted to actively engage in the mission of sharing the gospel. More than 1,800 sites have been targeted across the TPUM region. These sites will become the centers of hope and transformation, where local members, churches and communities unite to proclaim the message of Jesus, offer Bible-based teachings, and extend practical acts of service.

Through prayer, preparation, and personal involvement, Pacific for Christ seeks to mobilize every believer to say, “I Will Go,” fulfilling Christ’s commission in the Pacific. Each member will focus on comprehensive preparation and community involvement. By engaging local churches in training programs, establishing necessary facilities, and prioritizing health and wellness services, the TPUM aims to create a sustainable impact that extends beyond the event itself.

The initiative seeks not only to share the gospel but also to nurture and retain new members, addressing challenges such as member retention identified in recent studies. As anticipation builds for Pacific for Christ, the TPUM community is called to unite in prayer and active participation, drawing inspiration from the Holy Spirit's work witnessed through the PNG4Christ campaign in Papua New Guinea in 2024. This collective effort aspires to foster a vibrant Adventist movement, living out the hope in Jesus and transforming communities across the Pacific.

The Seventh-day Adventist schools across the Trans Pacific Union Mission region will play a vital role in the Pacific for Christ initiative, serving as centers for evangelism, education, and community outreach. Schools will be encouraged to integrate the campaign’s themes into their curriculum, chapel programs, and student activities, empowering young people to be active participants in mission. Students, teachers, and school leaders will collaborate with local churches to host programs, lead out in music and drama evangelism, conduct service projects, and distribute literature. By involving students in meaningful mission experiences, TPUM aims to inspire the next generation of disciples and ensure that the values of faith, service, and commitment to Christ are deeply rooted in the hearts of young people across the region.

Visiting Seventh-day Adventist leaders from around the world will bring encouragement, support, and global unity into the Pacific for Christ. Their involvement will help strengthen partnerships and provide valuable insights that enrich local efforts. As TPUM prepares to host this historic evangelistic campaign, the region stands on the threshold of a spiritual revival—one that will echo the call of the Great Commission and leave a lasting legacy of faith, service, and transformation throughout the Pacific.
