Wainimakutu SDA Church Children Ministry Visits TPUM: A Journey of Faith and Commitment

In an inspiring demonstration of faith and dedication, children, teachers, and parents from Wainimakutu SDA Church Children Ministry traveled from as early as 3:00 AM this morning to visit the Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM). This journey reflects their commitment to the theme “I Will Go to My Workplace”, a call to mission that resonates deeply within the Adventist community.

Led by Pr. Linray Tutuo and TPUM President Pr. Maveni Kaufononga, the program proved to be a blessing for all who attended. The group, comprised of eager students, devoted teachers, and supportive parents, was filled with excitement and anticipation as they embarked on this special trip. For many of the children and parents, it was their very first time visiting the TPUM headquarters, making the experience both memorable and meaningful.

The visit began with a warm welcome and an uplifting devotional led by Pr. Linray Tutuo, emphasizing the importance of mission work and submitting ourselves as a pencil in God’s hand. Pr. Maveni Kaufononga also shared the structure and statistics of the Adventist world church, challenging the students and parents to embrace their faith and continue to live out the “I Will Go” mission in their church, homes, and communities.

Teachers and parents expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to visit the TPUM. “It has been a long journey, but we are blessed to be here,” one parent shared with a smile. “This visit has given us a better understanding of the work that happens at TPUM and has inspired us to do more for God’s mission.”

The children were equally enthusiastic, sharing their excitement about seeing the TPUM facilities and meeting the leaders. For them, this visit was a powerful reminder that they are part of a much larger mission, reaching across the Pacific and the world.

The day concluded with prayers of blessing and renewed commitment to serve God faithfully in their respective workplaces, schools, and homes. The visit to the TPUM was not only a physical journey but also a spiritual one—a testament to the power of faith, unity, and willingness to go wherever God leads.

The Wainimakutu SDA Church Children Ministry left the TPUM with full hearts, ready to take the theme “I Will Go” back to their villages and into their daily lives, continuing to inspire others through their example of dedication and mission.
