About TPUM
The Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) of Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church exists to provide support to the SDA country offices within its territory. These include the nations of Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Niue and Nauru. The focus of the SDA Church is the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the spiritual nurture of its constituents and the professional management of the church, its organisation and facilities.
About the Role
This full-time position provides leadership and hands-on support for technology services across the TPUM region. The successful applicant will manage IT infrastructure, coordinate incident response, support cybersecurity and disaster-recovery initiatives, mentor local IT personnel, and implement Adventist Technology standards and strategies within the local operating environment.
Key requirements include:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• At least five years of relevant management experience
• Strong experience in enterprise networks, servers, cloud services, cybersecurity and technical support
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills
• A personal commitment to the mission, values and lifestyle of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Willingness to travel within the TPUM region as required
