A belated Happy New Year to you all! May the Lord lead you this year and bring
you to a life full of abundance. We have set 2023 as the year where we will "GO to our neighbours." Jesus commanded us to love our neighbours as ourselves and we cannot truly love them without going to them. Being there for them, just as a close friend, is all it takes.
A Japanese health study showed that Japan is ranked number one in the world in
terms of health and attributes this success to close social, cultural, and traditional
ties in the country. The study suggests that the more social ties a person has, the
better their health and the lower their death rate. Conversely, the more isolated a
person is, the poorer their health and the higher their death rate. Social ties are a
great preventative measure for both physical and mental-emotional-behavioral
problems.
Your neighbours' need you, so go to them with God's love.
