New role at Pacific Adventist University

Mere Vaihola, the education director of Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM), has accepted a new role as deputy vice chancellor for administration at Pacific Adventist University (PAU). In this role, Vaihola will provide executive leadership and oversee various areas including policy formation, human resources management, and campus security. The position is designed to complement the existing management team at PAU.

Vaihola brings extensive experience in Adventist education administration in the Pacific to her new role. She has been serving at TPUM since 2017 and was appointed as education director in 2021. Vaihola expressed her excitement to continue serving God at PAU.

Vaihola's move to PAU has been met with well wishes from various leaders in the Adventist community. TPUM president Pastor Maveni Kaufononga said PAU will benefit from her wealth of experience in education leadership. South Pacific Division education director Dr. Malcolm Coulson also congratulated Vaihola on her appointment, acknowledging her hard work and commitment to promoting Adventist education.
