Dr Petras Bahadur Commends TPUM for “Reaching Out to Neighbours with Love"

Dr. Petras Bahadur, Director of the Global Center for Adventist-Muslim Relations at the Headquarters of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, recently shared a special message with the Trans Pacific Union Mission and church members across the Pacific.

Commending the TPUM Theme "I Will Go to My Neighbour," Dr. Bahadur emphasized the importance of reaching out to those around us, particularly those from outside the Christian faith background, and sharing the love of Jesus with them. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Andrews University with a concentration in Urban Ministry, focusing on the concept of House Church as an assimilation model for those from Muslim background.

Dr. Bahadur's message is especially relevant given the current global climate, which is marked by increasing polarization and division. His support to reach out to our neighbours and share the love of Jesus is a timely reminder of the power of love to overcome fear and hatred.

The Trans Pacific Union Mission and church members across the Pacific are encouraged to take Dr. Bahadur's message to heart and to look for ways to reach out to their neighbours of different religious and ethnic backgrounds with the love of Jesus. By doing so, they can help to break down barriers and build bridges of understanding and compassion in their communities.
