Fiji Mission launches OneVoice27 with new website

Fiji Mission officially launched OneVoice27 on Friday evening, 30 October, at the Fiji Mission compound in Suvavou. The launch marks the start of a renewed commitment to sharing Jesus through digital media, technology and every available communication platform.

Church members, ministry leaders and young people came in strong numbers, showing a shared desire to take the gospel beyond church walls and reach people wherever they are. The large number of young people present pointed to a growing opportunity to engage a new generation in digital evangelism.

Trans Pacific Union Mission president Pastor Charlie Jimmy reminded those gathered that the Church exists to make disciples for God's kingdom. Technology and digital platforms, he said, are not simply tools for communication but opportunities to fulfil the mission given to every believer. "The power was never in the messenger," he said. "The power was always in the message."

John Tausere of Adventist Media, South Pacific Division, shared the wider Division vision for OneVoice27 and how churches, ministries, leaders and members can work together to strengthen it across the Pacific. He outlined four components that will guide the movement:

  • Celebrate: engaging members in the journey

  • Rediscover: deepening their understanding of Jesus

  • Share: taking the gospel to others

  • Harvest: leading people into discipleship

Fiji Mission also unveiled a dedicated OneVoice27 website and mobile app, developed by its organising team to equip members, content creators and ministry leaders to share God's Word throughout Fiji and beyond.

The year 2027 marks 2000 years since Jesus began His public ministry. While the launch is over, the mission is only beginning. OneVoice27 calls every church member, whatever their age, background or digital experience, to recognise that they have a voice and a part to play in sharing Jesus. Fiji Mission is inviting members to explore the OneVoice27 platform and become active participants in the movement.
