During the ceremony, the church expressed its gratitude to the Government, the Minister for Education, and the Ministry for their ongoing support and grants, particularly benefiting Navesau and Vatuvonu schools. Hon. Radrodro extended his thanks to the church, the landowners, and the people of Wainibuka for providing the land for the school’s establishment. He also acknowledged the school’s management and teachers, who have persevered through years of low salaries.

The Minister encouraged unlicensed teachers to pursue registration with the ministry to ensure they receive appropriate remuneration, emphasizing that “teaching is a noble profession.” Following the ceremony, Hon. Radrodro engaged in a ‘talanoa’ session with parents from Wainibuka and the Navesau community.

The Diamond Jubilee celebration continued from September 13th to September 15th, with old scholars, former staff, and Adventists associated with the school gathering for the festivities, culminating in a soli on the 15th of September.
