A Memorable Harvest in Nawaisomo, Beqa
May 10, 2025
We are thrilled to share an inspiring story of God's power at work in the village of Nawaisomo, nestled in the tikina of Raviravi on the island of Beqa. In a beautiful and memorable celebration of faith, 19 precious souls gave their lives to Jesus through baptism.
This spiritual breakthrough was the result of faithful groundwork by Pastor Watikini Naruma, who led Bible studies followed by a one-week reaping campaign. The Lord moved powerfully during this time, touching hearts and calling people to a new life in Christ.
What makes this moment even more meaningful is its location—the very same beach where the Methodist Church first arrived on Beqa Island. Now, years later, that same shore witnessed a new chapter in the spread of the gospel through the Adventist message of hope and truth.
We give all glory to God for the light of the present truth that continues to shine in Beqa and throughout Fiji. These baptisms are a reminder that the Holy Spirit is still working, calling people from every walk of life into His marvelous light.
As a mission-driven community, we remain fully committed to the Great Commission:
“I will go… to the ends of the world.”
Let us continue to pray, support, and go until every heart hears.
