Digital Discipleship and Leadership Training Empowers 30 Participants in Tonga

From June 24 to 27, 2024, the Kingdom of Tonga hosted an intensive four-day training program in Digital Discipleship and Media Leadership. This event saw 30 dedicated participants complete the training and receive certificates, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward becoming impactful digital disciples.

The training was organized by the Trans Pacific Union Mission along with Hope Channel Director Peter Grewe, and with the strong support from the Tonga Mission's administration and staff. The program provided a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to effectively navigate and leverage digital platforms for evangelism and community engagement.

Throughout the training, participants engaged in hands-on sessions, discussions, and practical exercises. The content covered various aspects of digital discipleship and media leadership, ensuring that attendees left with a robust understanding of digital tools and strategies to spread their message and engage their communities online.

The program's success was made possible through generous contributions from ADRA Österreich, whose funding played a pivotal role in bringing this leadership training to the Pacific region. This support highlights a global commitment to nurturing digital leaders capable of driving positive change and fostering spiritual growth through innovative means.

The achievements of the 30 participants are a testament to their dedication and the effectiveness of the training program. These newly certified digital disciples are now equipped to make a significant impact, sharing their faith and engaging with their communities in meaningful ways. The potential for positive change is immense as they embark on this journey.
