"Find the Lost Sheep"

29 October 2024

Last weekend, the Central Honiara District Federation gathered at the scenic SIM campsite, united by the powerful theme, "Find the Lost Sheep." This event was a weekend filled with heartfelt inspiration, featuring dynamic speakers, uplifting songs, and insightful report presentations that reminded everyone of our shared mission.

Highlights of the Event:

  • Dorcas Societies March: One of the event's memorable moments was the Dorcas Societies' impressive march. With precision and purpose, they moved like an army of faith, rallying together in a display of unity and commitment.

  • Celebrating the "Young at Heart": Our elderly members, affectionately known as the "young at heart," shone brightly throughout the weekend. Even as rain descended, their dedication was unwavering, proving that age is no barrier to serving and celebrating together.

  • Special Guest - Mrs. Alice Kaisuva: We were honored by the presence of Mrs. Alice Kaisuva, the Family, Women, and Children’s Director from the Fiji Mission. Recently, Mrs. Kaisuva had visited the West Honiara District Federation and led a week of prayer at White River. Her messages at our federation were a heartfelt call to action, encouraging all to embrace the mission of finding the lost sheep. Her presence touched many hearts, leaving attendees feeling uplifted and motivated.

A Weekend of Renewal and Inspiration

Attendees expressed feeling truly blessed by Mrs. Kaisuva’s words and the fellowship shared. This federation gathering proved to be a time of spiritual renewal, with everyone taking away a renewed sense of purpose and dedication.

Looking Ahead: New Leaders

The federation concluded with the election of new leaders, marking an exciting new chapter in our journey. We look forward to supporting their vision and leadership as we continue our mission.

This Federation has indeed been a blessing, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who attended. Let's keep the spirit of unity and outreach alive as we move forward together in faith.
