Hope Channel to broadcast 24/7, free-to-air in Kiribati

On the 23rd of March, Kiri-One TV and Hope Media Ministry (HMM) of Kiribati SDA Mission signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to launch a new television service for Kiribati SDA Mission, "Kiribati Hope Channel." The new channel will provide free-to-air, 24-hour service, featuring both local content from Hope Media Kiribati and international content from Hope Channel International.

The President of Kiribati Mission of Seventh-day Adventists, Pr Taabua Rokeatau, expressed his excitement about the new partnership, stating that "We praise the Lord this is another major milestone in the history of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Kiribati, in the use of modern technology to help spread the last message of hope to all God's people here in this island paradise and the whole world. To God be the glory."

Kiribati Mission Media director Mr Tarataake said that the new channel aims to bring hope and inspiration to the people of Kiribati, and will also provide a platform for the Kiribati Mission to share messages of hope in Jesus, health, family and youth programs with the local community.

The partnership between Kiri-1TV and Hope Media will enable the new channel to access a wide range of high-quality content from Hope Channel International, a leading Christian network that reaches millions of viewers worldwide. We hope to eventually, showcase local programs produced by Hope Channel Kiribati, which will provide a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the people of Kiribati.
