Pr. Afiipu Tuaoi Elected as New President of Samoa Tokelau Mission

The Trans Pacific Union Mission extends heartfelt congratulations to Pr. Afiipu Tuaoi on his appointment as the President of Samoa Tokelau Mission. With over 20 years of pastoral ministry experience across the Pacific and Australia, Pr. Tuaoi returns to Samoa with a deep sense of humility and commitment to God’s calling.

“Coming back to Samoa to serve in an administration role is both humbling and overwhelming,” Pr. Tuaoi shared. “As God has led me in pastoral ministry for over 20 years, I know God will guide me through this new experience with the support and experience of the people of Samoa, as we continue to share the good news of Jesus Christ.”

Pr. Tuaoi has faithfully served in various parts of the world field. He began his ministry in the Samoa Tokelau Mission in American Samoa, serving five years in pastoral work. From 2007 to 2020, he worked in the North New South Wales Conference in Australia, ministering in several congregations including Singleton, Muswellbrook, Coonabarabran, Gunnedah, Glen Innes, and Tenterfield.

In 2021, he joined the Tasmanian Conference, pastoring the Wynyard and Smithton churches until 2022, and later serving the Burnie and Ulverstone congregations from 2023 to 2025. Alongside these responsibilities, he also served as Ministerial Secretary and Literature Ministry Coordinator for the Tasmanian Conference from 2024 to 2025.

Pr. Tuaoi’s educational background includes a Diploma in Theology from Fulton College, a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Pacific Adventist University, and a Master of Theology from Avondale College. He and his wife, Faamaneenee, have been married for 24 years and are blessed with three children: Maria, Elana, and Jesiah.

His dedication, pastoral heart, and wealth of experience are seen as invaluable assets to the ongoing mission of the church in Samoa and Tokelau. The church family prays for God’s continued blessing upon Pr. Tuaoi, his family, and the work of the Mission as they move forward together in sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.
