TPUM Education Department Launches the ABIDE BIBLE Project in Partnership with AUC

On the 26th of March, the Trans-Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) Education Department, in a significant move aimed at enriching spiritual education in schools, officially launched the ABIDE BIBLE Project. This initiative, in partnership with the Australian Union Conference (AUC) Education Department, marks a pivotal moment for Adventist education within the TPUM region.

The launch event was graced by the presence via Zoom of Jacques Calais, who serves as the associate education director for Adventist schools in Australia. With profound experience and dedication to Adventist education, Calais addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of integrating spiritual education with academic learning and how these Bibles will be of great use and resource to our teachers.

The ABIDE BIBLE Project aims to provide teachers across TPUM Adventist Schools with specialized Bibles designed to enhance the teaching and learning experience. These Bibles are not just books; they are tools for educators to deepen the spiritual environment in their classrooms, fostering a more profound connection between students and the Christian faith.

Mr Taloga Pita (TPUM Education Director) mentioned that by implementing the ABIDE Bible project, the TPUM Education Department envisions a transformative change in the way spiritual education is approached. The project seeks to encourage teachers to incorporate biblical principles into their teaching methodologies, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education that caters to their spiritual growth as well as their academic development.
