TPUM Education Director continues to visit schools

The Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) Education Director, Mr. Talonga Pita, has recently arrived in the country for an important visit focused on overseeing the accreditation process of five schools in the Western region. These institutions include Kukudu Adventist College, Kukudu Primary, Jones Adventist College (JAC), JAC Primary, and Varettuty. The accreditation process ensures that these schools meet the required educational standards, guaranteeing quality education for students in the region.

As part of his visit, Mr. Pita participated in the Teacher Wellness Retreat held at Kukudu Adventist College over the weekend. The retreat emphasized supporting teachers’ well-being, recognizing that a healthy and motivated teaching staff is crucial to providing the best educational experience for students. The retreat offered insightful sessions and practical strategies to help teachers perform at their best.

Joining Mr. Pita in this important endeavor was Mr. Billy Leta, the Education Director for the South Pacific Division’s Solomon Islands Mission (SIM). The team also included two key members: Mr. Andrianne Kele, Associate from the Western Sub Office (WSO), and Mr. Sam Taebo, Associate from the Northern Sub Office (NSO). These associates have been working closely with the schools, offering valuable support throughout the accreditation process.

Together, the team is committed to ensuring these schools continue to provide high-quality education to students in the region. The accreditation visit represents an ongoing effort to uphold educational excellence in the Pacific Islands, empowering both students and educators to reach their full potential.
