A Glorious Baptism in Nabalabala Tokaimalo, Ra.
On March 22, the serene waters of Nabalabala Tokaitua, near Barotu Village, became a sacred place of renewal as more than 61 individuals publicly declared their faith through baptism. Among them were families, newly wedded couples, siblings, and individuals, all taking this profound step of surrendering their lives to Christ.
This remarkable spiritual revival followed three weeks of evangelistic meetings led by Evangelist Samu Koro, who shares a special bond with the village through his mother’s lineage. The event was further blessed by the presence of Pastor Vilive Daniva and Josevata Torosi, who serve in the district and actively supported the evangelistic series.
During the Sabbath service, Pastor Nasoni Lutunaliwa, President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, delivered an inspiring message, assuring the newly baptized that while the journey of faith is not always easy, they have chosen not just any life, but everlasting life. His words of encouragement strengthened and uplifted those who made this life-changing commitment.
As we celebrate this great spiritual harvest, the journey of faith continues! Over the next two weeks, special nurturing sessions will be conducted to support and strengthen the newly baptized, as well as those eager to learn more from the Bible. We praise God for His marvelous work and eagerly anticipate even more baptisms in the coming months.
Matthew 28:19-20 – “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
