Historic Baptismal Service Marks Tonga for Christ Evangelistic Campaign

The "Tonga for Christ" evangelistic campaign concluded with a significant baptismal service at Beulah Adventist College, where 122 people were baptized, marking the largest baptism ever recorded in Tonga.

General Conference President Pastor Ted Wilson and his wife Nancy attended the event, joining government and church leaders in celebration. The baptismal service highlighted the impact of the "Tonga for Christ" program, with participation from various Pacific church leaders.

Pastor Wilson shared on his Facebook page, "Special baptismal service where 122 people were baptized as a result of ‘Tonga for Christ’….. the largest baptism they had ever had in Tonga! Praise the Lord!!"

The campaign, held at Beulah Adventist College, involved leaders from across the Pacific, including the Tonga Mission. The participation of Pathfinders and students, along with the Tongan Adventist Brass Band, created a lively atmosphere for the event.

The "Tonga for Christ" program demonstrated the dedication of church leaders and members. It highlighted the bond and shared values between the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the people of Tonga, inspiring hope and renewed commitment to the church's mission.
