TPUM Office Visits, Gifts and Prays with Teachers on Global Youth Day

As part of the celebration of Global Youth Day (GYD), the staff of the Trans Pacific Union Mission Office visited the Suva Adventist College and the Suva Adventist Primary School on March 17th, 2023. The initiative aimed to show appreciation and gratitude to the teachers for their hard work and dedication towards their students.

The GYD is an annual event organized by the youth department of the World Seventh-day Adventist Church, and this year's theme is "Love is a Verb." The event encourages young adults to take action and show love to someone in their community.

The team from the Trans Pacific Union Mission Office prepared gift packs for each of the 23 teachers in the Suva Adventist College and 19 teachers in the Suva Adventist Primary School. The gift packs included various stationary items, the "Great Hope" book, "Signs of the Times Magazine Pacific Edition," and Simple Way's GLOW tracts.

During the visit, Mrs. Worwor, the Children, Women's and Family Life Director, expressed her gratitude towards the teachers for their love towards all the children in the school. She said, "We acknowledge you today for your love towards all our children in our schools."

The teachers were grateful for the visit and the gift packs they received. They expressed their appreciation for the recognition and encouragement they received from the Trans Pacific Union Mission Office on Global Youth Day.

The event reminded everyone that small acts of kindness and appreciation can make a big difference in someone's life. The Trans Pacific Union Mission Office's initiative to visit and gift the teachers at the Suva Adventist College and Suva Adventist Primary School was a great way to show gratitude and spread love on Global Youth Day.
