UNLOCKING POTENTIAL WITH MEDIA LEADERSHIP TRAINING

The Solomon Islands Mission is excited to share that John Tausere and Maika Tuima from the Trans Pacific Union teamed up with Hope Channel SI and IT SIM training leaders to become digital disciples in their local churches! From Western Region, Kukudu to Northern Region, Auki and then in Honiara. This report focuses on the Central Region, primarily from the Guadalcanal area, Makira with Honiara as the host location at the Maranatha Centre dining hall.

President Pr. Filo shared a dynamic message followed by the welcome ceremony for the guests on Friday evening. Other messages by Pr. Steve Aquila and Pr. Fraser Rueben were transforming as well. John Tausere’s presentations were powerful, clearly demonstrating the Holy Spirit's work and inspiring participants through his impactful message. With over 100 participants, this weekend has been truly enlightening. In today’s digital age, it’s essential that we equip ourselves to be effective digital leaders for Christ. There’s no time to waste—let’s work together to grow and support one another as digital disciples!

The response from participants has been overwhelming. A special thanks to Our TELEKOM representatives who presented gifts to the Hope Channel SI to continue with the ministry and it was a blessing to display their products as the digital disciples are on the go to be positive influencers for the Lord. The weekend program smooth execution reflects the unity fostered by the Digital Discipleship Commitee.

One of the Solomon Islands mission’s main goals is media training, and it’s a blessing to see so many stepping up to this challenge! Wish John and his beautiful wife Samantha who was also being part of this team as they serve in South Pacific Division. To the TPU dual team John and Maika...
