
Health Expo - Extending Wellness Outreach to Neighbours
This year's key strategy is hosting Health Expos in unexplored regions, aiming to promote wellness among neighboring communities. Two successful expos were held in May. The first, in Malaita's western region, resulted in 14 baptisms. The second, in a Central Honiara suburb, featured health discussions and assessments, significantly impacting attendees. Preparations are now underway for an upcoming evangelistic meeting in the same location.

New Education Director for the Trans Pacific Union
The Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) is delighted to welcome Mr. Taloga Pita as the new Education Director. With a commendable career spanning over three decades in educational leadership across the Pacific, Mr. Pita steps into the shoes of outgoing Director Mrs. Mere Vaihola. "My family and I are really looking forward to accepting this calling," says Pita, who has served throughout Fiji and the Pacific for many years. He believes his new calling offers an opportunity to come home and continue serving God through the Pacific Adventist Schools.

TPUM Chaplain’s Convention 2023 'Chosen' Paves Way for Holistic Education Development
From June 14-17, the Trans-Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) held its Chaplain’s Convention 2023 at the Fulton Adventist University College in Fiji. Under the theme 'Chosen', nearly a hundred participants across various Pacific island nations convened to focus on the critical role of chaplaincy in schools. In remembrance of our little angel, Viniyanna, her brief life displayed acts of kindness and faith in God that touched the lives of everyone around her. Despite the heartbreak of her sudden departure, we're establishing the "Viniyanna Seth Memorial Lamb Shelter" to continue her legacy of compassion and care, carrying forward her light in teaching and preparing other children for a life filled with love and faith.

Youth Directors from Across the Pacific Gather for TPUM Advisory
Youth leaders from different Pacific Island countries gathered in Fiji to discuss their plans for the future. Most of them were new to their roles, but the meeting gave them an opportunity to learn from each other and discuss ways to work together. They talked about the importance of knowing your team members well and collaborating effectively. The meeting also gave them a chance to prepare for important events like the Youth Congress and the Digital Discipleship Training of Trainers. The leaders left the meeting with a better understanding of the Union's vision and mission and a renewed sense of purpose to work towards their shared goals.
