Kiribati Mission Health Director, Mrs Tera Tarataake, hosted a week-long health program in Tabiteuea North, offering free medical check-ups to staff members of the council, hospital, and police. The program also included a health public awareness campaign, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The Fiji Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church launched Aasha FM, a Hindi-speaking radio station, on April 28th, 2023. With the addition of Aasha FM, the Fiji Mission's media ministry continues to expand, providing more opportunities to hear the gospel message.

Burns Creek Settlement Community SDA Church hosted a successful health risk assessment facilitators training program from April 2 to 5, 2023, aimed at early detection and intervention of diabetes and related illnesses.

Tongan education sees a significant milestone as three schools secure accreditation through the Quality Adventist School (QAS) framework. Trans Pacific Union Education Director, Mere Vaihola, praises the progress made by the schools while implementing the QAS framework, highlighting their growth and affirmed status as Adventist schools. The achievement serves as motivation for other mission schools striving for accreditation.

Students and teachers from Epauto Adventist Senior Secondary School joined forces with their neighbours at Freshwota Bilingual School for a day of cleaning and collaboration! This heartwarming initiative is part of Adventist Christian Education and showcases the power of community support and the positive impact we can achieve when we work together.

Over 100 students from Naha SDA Primary School shared love and care with elderly and sick neighbours on Adventist Education Day. Joined by their teachers, they visited four homes, offering prayers, gifts, and support. This heartwarming experience truly embodied the spirit of 'I will go to my neighbour,' making a lasting impact on the community.

Youth leaders from different Pacific Island countries gathered in Fiji to discuss their plans for the future. Most of them were new to their roles, but the meeting gave them an opportunity to learn from each other and discuss ways to work together. They talked about the importance of knowing your team members well and collaborating effectively. The meeting also gave them a chance to prepare for important events like the Youth Congress and the Digital Discipleship Training of Trainers. The leaders left the meeting with a better understanding of the Union's vision and mission and a renewed sense of purpose to work towards their shared goals.

Empowering communities to detect diabetes and related illnesses early is key to turning the tide on this disease. The 10K Toes ambassadors and lead ambassadors held a screening event in the province of Navosa, Fiji, on March 30, 2023. The event aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of a high-fat diet, processed food, dairy products, and a lack of physical activity. The event was attended by representatives from seven villages, and 110 people were screened, with five people identified as "high-risk" and referred to Vatumali hospital for further treatment.

Vanuatu has been hit by two powerful cyclones causing extensive damage, but the resilience of its people has been evident. Despite being prone to natural disasters, they remain strong and united, coming together to help one another. The government and humanitarian organizations are working to provide assistance, and the people of Vanuatu continue to rebuild and restore their country.

Adventist Youth wins Territorial Poetry Out Loud Competition in American Samoa and prepares for Nationals in Washington, DC! Hazel Ipuniuesea Leo, a sophomore at Iakina Adventist Academy, swept the competition and will be representing American Samoa at the National Poetry Out Loud Competition in May.

The Tarawa Adventist Youth from the SDA Church on South Tarawa and Betio demonstrated their love and commitment to the environment by conducting a successful clean-up at the Ananau Causeway. Around 50+ youths participated in the event, collecting 120 green bags of waste and debris. The initiative was supported by MELAD-ECD and received participation from the SDA Kiribati Mission President, pastors, laymen, and youth advisors. Keep up the great work, SDA youth!

Kiri-One TV and Hope Media Ministry (HMM) of Kiribati SDA Mission have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch a new television service for Kiribati SDA Mission, "Kiribati Hope Channel." The new 24-hour channel will feature international content from Hope Channel International, as well as local programs produced by Hope Media, Kiribati. This new partnership represents a major milestone in the history of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Kiribati, as it seeks to leverage modern technology to spread its message of hope to a wider audience. Nine precious souls were baptised on Vaitupu Island, Tuvalu, on March 18th, after months of Bible studies and personal visitation by Church planter and Minister, Waisele Dokonivalu.

Global Youth Day, 2023 the Trans Pacific Union Mission Office visited the Suva Adventist College and Suva Adventist Primary School to show gratitude and appreciation towards the teachers. The staff prepared gift packs containing stationery, books, and magazines for each of the teachers. The event aimed to spread love and kindness, reminding everyone that small acts can make a big difference in someone's life.

The Trans Pacific Union recently hosted an innovative two-day training event aimed at equipping its Disciple Ministry Team leaders with the tools and skills needed for innovative thinking. The training, which featured guest facilitators from the South Pacific Division, provided participants with the process of innovative thinking and how to apply it to their various ministries. Attendees described the workshop as "so inspiring" and noted that it will be of great help in planning for future projects and events.
