On May 17, 2024, the 10,000 Toes Campaign in Fiji organized a march in Lautoka, coinciding with the visit of the World President of the SDA Church, Elder Ted Wilson, and his wife Nancy Wilson. The event drew a significant crowd, beginning at Shirley Park, proceeding through the main town streets, and returning to Shirley Park. The purpose of the march was to raise awareness about the 10,000 Toes Campaign, which aims to prevent, control, arrest, and reverse diabetes through lifestyle interventions and early health screenings.
